Our restaurant’s namesake, a beautifully crafted wooden horse, was created by a skilled Tasmanian artisan over a century ago. This majestic piece stands proudly at the centre of our space, symbolising the island’s rich heritage and the timeless spirit of craftsmanship passed down through generations.

Our interior showcases nine different types of Tasmanian timber, carefully selected to reflect the island’s stunning landscapes. The warm, inviting atmosphere is a true homage to the environment we cherish.
We pride ourselves on bringing you the very best of Tasmania, with 90% of our food sourced from local farmers and growers. Every dish supports the community that makes this island so special.
